Personal Biography
Rahn Hashad was born in the city of
Bandar-e Emam Khomeyni, Iran. He was an only child of wealthy parents, growing
up in a large estate that fronted the Persian Gulf. Hashad's family had once,
long ago, been involved in the production of oil, but when the tides turned and
renewable energy became the way to go, Rahn's ancestors were pioneers in the
field. Rahn loved looking at the pictures of the old days, row after row of wind
turbines dotting the sands.
Hashad's family was not happy when
their only child spoke of leaving the planet. He had whirl winded his way
through school, and had been happily working at an archeological dig near Kerman
Zahedan when a friend showed him the latest photos of Vulcan that had been
released for public view. He was captivated. After applying at Star Fleet
Academy, he was accepted and left immediately for San Francisco.
Xeno-archeology is a vast and varied
field, but Rahn wanted to learn it all. He took every course related to it at
the Academy in San Francisco, then continued his studies at Jupiter Station.
When he had exhausted every course and pursued every bit of information he could
scrounge out of the database, after 4 years, he applied for a berth on a
starship, to take his knowledge to the source(s).
He was assigned to the NX-04 Challenger
as Xeno-Archeologist's Mate and acquitted himself very well at the post. Later,
upon reassignment of the Xeno-Archeologist, Rahn was promoted to the position,
and has served the ship as Xeno-Archeologist ever since. |
