Personal Biography

Sam was born in Cleburne, Texas to a Texas Ranger and a stay at home mother. He grew up with an healthy interest in the criminal justice system. At 18 he applied to join the Rangers. However, he was not accepted. So, he did the next logical thing and joined Starfleet. While he took the aptitude test, he wasn't surprised when it said he'd be perfect for the Armory Department.

Upon completion of his training, he was assigned to the same Neptune Class vessel that Megan Galloway was aboard. The pair got along well although they were nothing more than friends. When Megan was transferred to the Challenger, Sam applied for a transfer as well. His transfer was granted and he joined the Challenger about a month after Megan. He was among the four picked to form the Avengers.
